District 45 Incentive
We know the value of Toastmasters, but does the public know what we’re all about?
We invite you to use your creativity to develop an original video that illustrates why others should make Toastmasters part of their personal or professional growth.
Help us get the word out about why everyone should want to join Toastmasters.
We’ll use these videos for a Social Media PR campaign.

How / Why are we doing this?
We recognise the talents within our clubs and we believe we have the abilities within to create a successful PR campaign.
Before the District merger, we want to ensure that District 45 funds are used to help our club members.
Increased membership helps all of us. Even if we don’t see the return on this investment immediately, we know that positive PR will provide returns.
Rules / Eligibility Requirements
Videos can be in the form of speeches, skits or any other presentation format. Videos must be original, not AI created. All videos must create brand awareness and must be considered dynamic and of brand quality. (ie. Represent Toastmasters in a professional light). Videos must have good lighting, quality sound and stable (not shaky) footage.
Videos must be at least 1 minute long, and must not exceed 10 minutes in length, as this limits which Social Media platforms, we can use them on.
Videos must be formatted for use on at least one Social Media platform. If we discover that a video is too large, we may ask you to reformat it. (An .mp4 format is preferred)
All participants must agree and sign a release form that their video can be used in a Toastmasters Social Media campaign at no further cost or liability to the District or Toastmasters International. District 45 and District 31 will retain the rights to these videos going forward.
Do not use District, Area or Club names/numbers in the video.
Prizes

$100 will be awarded to each club that enters at least one entry that meets the eligibility requirements above. (Only one entry award is available per club, however multiple entries per club can be accepted.)
The top three videos, as voted on by the District 45 Membership, will be posted for a more public vote.
The team/individual with the first-place video will win $600 for their club, second place will receive $500 and third place will receive $400.
Clubs can use the funds for membership/retention activities at their discretion.
Winners will be notified, and the winning videos will be highlighted on the District 45 website.
