CLUB OFFICER TRAINING

At the District 45 Annual Conference on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 7:50 am Eastern to 8:50 am Eastern, District 45 will be holding in person club officer training for the 2024 - 2025 incoming club officers.

To receive credit for new club officer training towards your DCP, you are required to:

(a) Attend the in person club officer training on Saturday, May 18th, 2024;

(b) Attend 3 of the 30 minute workshops and at least 2 of the keynote presentations; and

(c) Record your attendance on the District 45 New Club Officer Training Confirmation - Spring 2024 form.

What If I am Not Attending the Annual Conference but Still Need Club Officer Training?

If you are unable to attend the annual conference, to receive credit for new club officer training towards your DCP, you are required to:

(a) Watch four (4) on demand videos from the 2024 Winter Workshop found on our YouTube channel.

(b) Attend a one hour live club officer training that best suits your schedule:

(i) Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at 6 pm - 7 pm Eastern / 7 pm - 8 pm Atlantic / 7:30 pm - 8:30 Newfoundland

(ii) Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Eastern / 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Atlantic / 8:00 pm - 9:00 Newfoundland

(iii) Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at 6 pm - 7 pm Eastern / 7 pm - 8 pm Atlantic / 7:30 pm - 8:30 Newfoundland

(iv) Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at 6 pm - 7 pm Eastern / 7 pm - 8 pm Atlantic / 7:30 pm - 8:30 Newfoundland

(v) Wednesday, June 12th, 2024

(v) Monday, June 17th, 2024 at 6 pm - 7 pm Eastern / 7 pm - 8 pm Atlantic / 7:30 pm - 8:30 Newfoundland

(vi) Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 6 pm - 7 pm Eastern / 7 pm - 8 pm Atlantic / 7:30 pm - 8:30 Newfoundland

(vii) Monday, June 24th, 2024 at 6 pm - 7 pm Eastern / 7 pm - 8 pm Atlantic / 7:30 pm - 8:30 Newfoundland

(viii) Thursday, June 27th, 2024 at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Eastern / 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Atlantic / 8:00 pm - 9:00 Newfoundland

(c) Record your attendance on the District 45 New Club Officer Training Confirmation - Spring 2024 form.

What If I Hold Multiple Officer Roles?

If you hold more than one club officer role, you will be required to attend one live club officer training per role you hold. Once you have completed the training, please register your completion using the District 45 New Club Officer Training Confirmation - Spring 2024 form. To ensure accurate registration, we ask that you complete the confirmation form for each role individually that you complete. This means you must complete the registration form for as many roles as you hold: one form for each role.

IMPORTANT: New club officer training must be completed by August 31st, 2024.

Can I Get Credit for Club Officer Training Taken In Another District?

Yes! You can receive credit for club officer training taken in another district. When you have completed the training, submit a request to the other district's Program Quality Director (PQD) to send an email to District 45 PQD Sharon Joseph, DTM.
